TENDER NOTICE
PROVISION OF VGM CERTIFICATE
Tender No. : 001/NPCT1-CO/01/22
Vendor to provide provision of VGM (Verified Gross Mass) Certification Services at NPCT1 Terminal:
a) The Vendor shall conduct audits and verify the quality management system of the weighing and quality management system of the information system which integrated to the implementation of weighing on a periodic (annual) basis.
b) The Vendor shall check the scales and periodic (monthly) production tests and incidental production tests if there are technical problems such as maintenance, repair, and shutdown.
c) The Vendor shall re-verify the scales on containers that having doubtful weight.
d) The Vendor shall issue VGM certificates to each export container that has been weighed and distribute to various relevant stakeholders as per agreed mechanism (integration with NPCT1 System).
e) The Vendor shall ensure the running of the system and helpdesk 24/7.
f) The Vendor shall comply with regulation update (if any) and doing changes on the NPCT1 system and integration without no charges to NPCT1.
- Eligibility : Open for vendor with following requirement:
- License for providing Survey/Certification Services
- Approval Letter of Ministry of Transportation as Classification Body/Appointed Body for Certification of VGM
- Approval Letter from related Associations (e.g GPEI, ALFI) as VGM Certificate Issuer
- IMO membership (Optional)
- Latest date to obtain tender document : 21 January 2022
