For 10 years, NPCT1 and our customers have shared the daily rhythm of port operations—vessels arriving, containers moving, schedules being met, and challenges being solved together. To celebrate this milestone, we took a little time away from the usual routine.
On 5 September, 133 participants joined NPCT1 for a Fun Trekking Event, spending the day exploring the outdoors, connecting beyond the usual work setting, and creating new memories along the way.
The morning started at Weekend.ers Backyard with breakfast and a safety briefing before everyone headed to the trekking point by pickup truck. Divided into several groups and accompanied by local guides, the participants then made their way through lush green landscapes and a variety of agricultural fields before arriving at Garunggang Cave, located in Karang Tengah Village, Babakan Madang, Bogor, West Java.
As the trail unfolded, so did the conversations. Colleagues who usually meet across meetings, emails, calls, or operational discussions found themselves walking side by side, exchanging stories, laughing, taking pictures, and enjoying the scenery together.
At Garunggang Cave, there was time to slow down and simply be present. Back at Weekend.ers Backyard, the day continued over lunch, games, and live music. More than a celebration, the Fun Trekking was a chance to pause and appreciate the relationship that have grown alongside NPCT1 over the past 10 years.
As NPCT1 marks this milestone, President Director Takayuki Hori expressed his appreciation to all customers for their continued support and trust throughout the past decade.
