Driving Smarter Logistics Through Collaboration, NPCT1 Engages Forwarders and Trucking Customers at ECON+ Workshop

February, 5th 2026

On 29 January, NPCT1 welcomed more than 72 participants from 42 forwarding and trucking companies to the ECON+ Workshop held at Sayap Suci, Kelapa Gading. The workshop served as a collaborative forum to align perspectives and explore how digital solutions can more effectively support day-to-day logistics operations.

During the session, NPCT1 highlighted several key focus areas driving its ongoing service transformation. The first was ECON+, an enhanced transaction platform equipped with advanced technology and smarter features to deliver a smoother user experience and more efficient business processes aligned with customer needs.

The second focus area was SAFE PAY, NPCT1's digital payment solution designed to simplify transactions and enable faster, more transparent workflows. The third was a refresh of the Terminal Booking System (TBS) policy, encouraged by the Ministry of Transportation through KSOP Tanjung Priok, aimed at balancing truck arrivals, reducing congestion, and improving overall truck turnaround time.

In addition, NPCT1 refreshed the Dual Cycle initiatives, an operational solution designed to help forwarders and trucking companies optimize fleet utilization by enabling trucks to enter the terminal with a container and exit carrying another. This approach reduces empty trips and improves overall operational efficiency.

Rino Wisnu Putro, Director of NPCT1, emphasized the importance of the workshop, noting that forwarders and trucking companies are key partners in delivering reliable logistics services amid growing operational and regulatory challenges. He highlighted that digitalization has become a critical enabler and that, since 2019, NPCT1 has continuously evolved the ECON platform to keep pace with industry dynamics, regulatory developments, and customer expectations. He also reaffirmed that NPCT1 remains open to feedback, suggestions, and constructive input from customers, recognizing collaboration as essential to delivering the best possible service.

The workshop concluded with an engaging discussion session, where participants actively shared questions, insights, and ideas. To close the event, NPCT1 management recognized several forwarding and trucking customers for their On-Schedule Performance in the implementation of TBS at NPCT1, as well as their Outstanding Contribution and Commitment in supporting NPCT1's Dual Cycle Program. These moments reinforced NPCT1's commitment to growing together with its customers, continuously improving service quality, and building a more efficient and connected logistics ecosystem.
