Jakarta, Indonesia, 13 April 2025 - NPCT1 is proud to announce the arrival of SITC's CMI2 service, marking a significant milestone as the third SITC service to call at NPCT1 within a year of the partnership. The CMI2 service operates the route of Nansha - Shekou - Ho Chi Minh - Jakarta - Semarang - Balikpapan - Cebu - Nansha. Through the calling of Balikpapan port, SITC is offering a solution to reduce the need for additional transhipment activities to deliver cargoes to this outport thus saving time for the customers.
On 13 April, the M.V. Tianjin (Voyage 2510N), with a throughput 568 TEUs, berthed at NPCT1 and completed container discharge and loading operation in less than 5 hours. To commemorate this occasion, NPCT1's management team presented plaques to the Master of SITC Tianjin and SITC's management, symbolizing strengthened partnership and collaboration between NPCT1 and SITC.
