March 8, 2025, Jakarta, Indonesia - NPCT1 is pleased to announce the achievement of a new performance milestone at Tanjung Priok Port, set during the operation of the vessel ATHENS GLORY.
ATHENS GLORY berthed on 7 March 2025 at 15.00 and commenced its operations at 15.41. A total of 2,321 containers were efficiently handled in 11 hours with all container operations concluding at 02:58 AM the following day. This translates to an exceptional 205 ship-to-shore moves per hour and a Gross Crane Rate (GCR) of 43 moves per hour. This feat was achieved during the Ramadhan which further showcase the dedication of NPCT1's staff on the delivery of high service level to our customers.
This outstanding performance reflects quality planning and precise execution. This has significantly reduced the port time of the vessel thus enabling it to travel at a more environmentally sustainable speed to its next port of destination.
