NPCT1 - Maersk 2nd Breakbulk/UC and OOG Event 2023
October 12, 2023, Jakarta, Indonesia - NPCT1 and Maersk, for second time this year, jointly conducted Breakbulk/UC (Un-Containerized) and OOG (Out-of-Gauge) Event to share its capabilities and experiences for handling these special cargoes. The event was attended by representatives of Cargo Owners and Logistics Service Providers.
Following the welcome speech by Mr. Takayuki Hori, President Director of NPCT1 and Ms. Debbie Torre, Maersk's Country Head of Sales Indonesia, Mr. Muhammad Iyas, NPCT1's Commercial Assistant Manager elaborated NPCT1's largest-scale facilities and its best operational excellence in handling project cargoes with safety as the top priority. Past projects using special tools (OH frame, OH chain, belt sling, etc) were also showcased to the participants.
Mr. Wahyudin Syah, Technical Manager/Port Captain MPL Indonesia, also presented Maersk's capabilities and its leading track records of handling various project cargoes especially in Indonesia.
