NPCT1 - Maersk Celebration of Productivity Record on MV. Seaspan Lingue 309S
April 5, 2023, Jakarta, Indonesia - On Tuesday, 4 April 2023, NPCT1 and Maersk Sealand celebrated the achievement of vessel productivity record on MV. Seaspan Lingue 309S.
The event is to celebrate both NPCT1 and Maersk Sealand Teams' collaborative efforts in achieving this high performance. The vessel berthed on 16th March 2023, 0320hrs with operations completed at 1145hrs. A total of 1,168 containers, including 22 Out-Of-Gauge containers, were handled in 6.5 hours. This translates to an average of 178 ship shore moves in an hour. This performance has drastically reduced the vessel port stay from 16 hours, by industry standard, to a 10-hour port stay. This saves a valuable 6 hours for our customer who can catch up on lost time or travel at a more environmental speed to its next port of destination.
Presented by NPCT1 President Director, Mr. Takayuki Hori, NPCT1 Management and Mr. Naheen Kaiser, Country Manager of Maersk Sealand Indonesia, they expressed their appreciation for the teams' interminable efforts to produce the best-in-class performance. The event which was attended by NPCT1 employees and Maersk Sealand Operation team, was marked with the presentation of a commemorative pin to Maersk and the provision of certificates to representatives from NPCT1 Operations Division.
