May 31, 2023, Jakarta, Indonesia - On Friday, 26 May 2023, NPCT1 and Maersk celebrated the achievement of vessel productivity record on MV. Seaspan Lumaco 317S.
The event was to celebrate both NPCT1 and Maersk Teams' collaborative efforts in achieving this high performance. The vessel berthed on 11 May 2023, 0552hrs with operations completed at 1216hrs. A total of 1,218 containers, including 2 Out-Of-Gauge containers, were handled in 6.4 hours which translated to an average of 190 ship shore moves in an hour. This enabled our customer, Maersk, to travel at a more environmentally sustainable speed to its next port of destination.
Presented by NPCT1 President Director, Mr. Takayuki Hori, NPCT1 Management and Mr. Heri Subakti, ID Head Ops of Maersk Indonesia, they expressed their appreciation for the teams' interminable efforts to produce the best-in-class performance. The event which was attended by NPCT1 employees and Maersk Operation team, was marked with the presentation of a commemorative pin to Maersk and the provision of certificates to representatives from NPCT1 Operations Division.
Both NPCT1 and Maersk are committed to further strengthening the collaboration and to continuing the focus on operational excellence.
