NPCT1 Welcomes CMA CGM VGI Service



June 21st, 2024, Jakarta, Indonesia - NPCT1 welcomed CMA CGM's new VGI service.

Connecting Laem Chabang, Vung Tau, and Jakarta to the core of India West Coast and Middle East markets, the new VGI service from CMA CGM will provide options for cargo owners to ship their cargoes with competitive transit times, serving the rapid import and export growth of Southeast Asian markets. 


The new weekly VGI service follows the route Vung Tau - Jakarta - Port Klang - Mundra - Jebel Ali - Dammam - Mundra - Port Klang - Laem Chabang.

MV. APL HOLLAND V.OPUS7W made her maiden call at NPCT1 with voyage handling throughput of approximately 2,200 TEUs berthed on 20 June 2024 evening and sailed off NPCT1 within one day. 


The maiden call of this CMA CGM's new VGI service was celebrated with a presentation of plaques from NPCT1's Management team to the Master of MV APL HOLLAND V.OPUS7W and Management of CMA CGM Indonesia
