NPCT1 Welcomes Maiden Call of MV Interasia Engage, Strengthening Intra-Asia Connectivity

New Priok Container Terminal One (NPCT1) officially welcomed the maiden call of Interasia Lines' KCI Service vessel, MV Interasia Engage on 30 January 2026. The vessel departed from Shanghai, China on 23 January and arrived in Jakarta on 30 January, marking its first call at NPCT1. MV Interasia Engage has a length overall (LOA) of 186 meters and a width of 34.86 meters, reinforcing its role in serving key intra-Asia trade routes. 

The maiden call reflects Interasia Lines' trust in NPCT1 as a strategic terminal partner for the service. This collaboration is expected to strengthen cargo flows and enhance connectivity between Indonesia and major intra-Asia markets. 


President Director of NPCT1, Takayuki Hori, welcomed Interasia Lines and expressed appreciation for the trust placed in NPCT1. He reaffirmed the terminal's commitment to supporting smooth and reliable service operations, while consistently delivering high service standards for Interasia Lines. 

This maiden call marks an important step in NPCT1's journey in building long-term strategic partnerships with shipping lines. NPCT1 continues to strengthen operational reliability and service excellence through close collaboration with shipping lines, supporting a more competitive logistics ecosystem while enabling long-term business growth for all customers.
