August 20th, 2024, Jakarta, Indonesia - NPCT1 welcomed RCL (Regional Container Lines) new RGA3 (RCL ASEAN Gulf) service.
Connecting Jakarta, Indonesia to Vietnam, Malaysia, India, and Middle East, the new weekly direct service from RCL will offer cargo owners additional options for shipping their cargoes with competitive transit time as well as support the rapid import and export growth in Southeast Asian markets.
The new RGA3 service operated by RCL which follows the route Cai Mep - Jakarta - Port Klang - Mundra (MICT) - Jebel Ali - Dammam - Mundra (ADANI) - Port Klang - Laem Chabang is a consortium with 6 other liners namely Emirates Shipping Lines, CMA CGM, KMTC, CU Lines, Global Feeder Shipping, and Pacific International Lines.
The launch of this new RGA3 service was celebrated with presentation plaques from NPCT1 management team to the operation team of RCL and Captain of Vessel. M.V. RDO Favour v. 02425W berthed in the afternoon of August 19th, 2024, with handling approximately 1282 boxes and handled in less than 24 hours.
